Somatic Movement Sessions
Healing through Movement

As we grow older,
our bodies–and our lives–
should continue to improve,
right up until the very end.”
~Thomas Hanna
Somatic Movement Sessions
"The only true way to get to know yourself in through the body."

Somatic Movement converges the power of movement and embodiment to facilitate profound healing and personal growth. In a dynamic approach, you delve into the innate wisdom of the body, harnessing its potential to promote emotional well-being, physical integration, and overall vitality.

At its core, Somatic Movement recognises the intricate connection between the mind, body, and spirit. By guiding you to cultivate a deep awareness of you body and the sensations you experience, you unlock a wealth of benefits that positively impact every aspect of life.
One of the key advantages of Somatic Movement lies in its ability to enhance self-awareness. Through mindful movement and focused attention, you develop a heightened sense of your physical and emotional state, gaining insight into patterns, tensions, and blockages that may be hindering your well-being. This heightened self-awareness empowers you to make conscious choices, fostering greater authenticity and self-empowerment.

In the realm of emotional well-being, Somatic Movement offers a powerful tool for regulating emotions and managing stress. By engaging in guided movement practices, you learn to release emotional energy held within your body, facilitating a sense of release, balance, and harmony. This process cultivates emotional resilience and supports you in navigating life's challenges with greater ease and grace.

Physical integration is another significant benefit of Somatic Movement. By consciously engaging in fluid, expressive movements, you foster a deeper connection with your body, promoting improved posture, flexibility, and strength. The gentle yet powerful exercises stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms, fostering a sense of embodiment and physical vitality.

Furthermore, Somatic Movement can be a catalyst for personal growth and transformation. By reconnecting with the body's wisdom, you gain a profound understanding of yourself, your unique needs, and your authentic desires. This self-exploration process facilitates a deeper sense of self-acceptance, self-love, and personal empowerment, creating a solid foundation for growth and transformation in all areas of life.

Whether you seek emotional healing, physical well-being, personal growth, or a harmonious mind-body connection, Somatic Movement offers a transformative path. Step into this journey of embodied healing and experience the profound benefits of Somatic Movement as you unlock your true potential, nurture your well-being, and embark on a path of holistic transformation.

Somatic Dance Movement

"Dance is the language of joy that flows through your body, allowing you to express yourself in ways words cannot. In the rhythm of movement, you discover the exhilarating freedom to fully experience the wonders of your own body."

Somatic Dance Movement is often part of my Somatic Movement sessions.

Somatic Dance Movement is a wonderful way to reconnect with your own body and build trust and confidence within yourself. What matters most is how you feel during the experience, not how you look or how well you can dance. You can come just as you are and embrace the joy of moving in your own unique way.
