Yin Yoga is becoming more and more popular due to the amazing mental and physical benefits. This 40hr training will give you great insight in what yin yoga is, the multiple benefits of yin yoga, yin yoga anatomy, hands on assists, meridians, emotions in our body, and it will guide you through over 80 yin yoga poses where we will be looking at great detail into each pose, the target areas, the related meridians and modifications. A comprehensive manual is part of the course.

As a teacher, at the end of this course, you will feel comfortable to start teaching your first yin yoga classes. As a practitioner you have gained a better understanding of how you can personalise the practice to you needs.

Attendance Policy

  • 100% attendance is required for certificate to be awarded.

  • Each session will be recorded so you will be able to view all the sessions online at a time that is convenient to you.

  • This course is competency-based, which means there is no pass or fail.

Remote sessions - What will I need?

  • You will need a device that connects to Zoom (either a smartphone or laptop), internet connection, the manual which you will receive before the start of the course, a pen for making notes. 

  • For the practices you need your mat, a blanket, two blocks and a strap.

  • For the session where you learn about assisting, a willing 'victim' (partner, friend, child) would be very helpful to practice on. 

  • And lastly an open mind and a comfortable place in your home for each session.

Cancellation Policy

  • $100 non-refundable deposit is due upon acceptance into the course. 

  • Final balance is due 4 weeks before the start of the course. 

  • For cancellations more than 2 weeks prior to commencement, all fees will be refunded less the $100 non-refundable deposit.

  • For cancellations within 2 weeks prior to commencement date, no refund will be given.


Where: Face to Face training takes place in our beautiful studio in Cattai (50 min out of Sydney CBD)

Online training sessions are taught via Zoom. Once registered you will receive a link each week to join the group

Experience with  yin yoga practice is beneficial.

A Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training certification is required for teachers to receive a Yin Yoga Teacher Training certificate.
